Nice! That Australian guy achieved significantly quieter and (logically) more energy efficient fan and pump blades, which we will find implemented in next year's computer fans. By means of clever equations? No, by moulding his emptying bathtub's vortex! In other words by making good use of natural vortexes, as does the Eye Of The Gyre concept, which future generations may remember as the idea that allowed supplying the world's energy needs when fossil oil ran out... or not ;)
