Vo,

Finally the establishment seems to be changing and taking new ideas on
board.

Is Cold Fusion going mainstream?
http://physicsworld.com/blog/2008/06/coldfusion_demonstration_an_up_1.html

I also heard a top academic at QMUL stand up and ask a question in a seminar
at QMUL about CF in front of Prof Steve Cowley's hot fusion seminar.

It seems that the powers that be are finally leaning on the establishment to
be more democratic and informed about the history of science. It seems the
new stuff often comes from the mavericks in their skunkworks. People are
mistaking big science as the only source because of Manhattan Project,
Aerospace Industries, Pharmaceuticals, Human Genome when really this
approach tends to hone what is already known. Some one said on this list
once that most PhD are 'technicians'. Paradigm shift going on. Interesting
times.

Can't subscribe for too long, may lurk occasionally.

Regards,
