Setting aside the detection of He for the time being does Oskar make a reasonable criticism of Arata's temperature measurements?
Oskar: "I wonder if it could be a deuterium effect on the thermocouple? Hydrogen and deuterium are notorious for dissolving in metals (as they are supposed to in the sample) and since this usually involves breaking up into atoms they might do this at slightly different rates which may affect the thermocouple.
