Expect no more from a government that can give you everything you want and take everything you have. The first historical written account of the results of "appointing a king" is found in the book of Samuel where he advises the people that a king will make servants of your daughters, conscript your sons to military and take your best land. Not long after that, ole king Saul was casting around for sum'buddy to fight Goliath instead of fighting himself... what did Saul offer??.. his daughter's hand in marriage( probably the ugly one), the honor of being "kinfolks' and the kicker... a tax exemption cerificate.
So folks.. not much has changed.. just the type of tax exemption.

Subject: [Vo]:Statement from Rusi Taleyarkhan

Rusi Taleyarkhan wrote to me as follows:

"I just returned from a trip and was shocked to look at Purdue's report and the fact they felt compelled to make it public without having corrections made for the record as part of the appeal stage. FYI, these two issues where misconduct was concluded were already investigated by a duly formed committee of peers in 2006 and a positive Press Release was issued by Purdue of exoneration; then in response to attempts to discredit by detractors, in mid-2007 Purdue's President received a rebuke from Congressman Miller-chair of subcommittee on science/technology with admonishment that Purdue as a federal funded research university re-consider it's findings. The new report and Press Release speak for themselves, but set in motion a serious precedent affecting the lives and careers of scientists/academics everywhere as institutions give in to political pressures at the expense of their integrity."
