Ferdi's first vehicles were electric. 

His legacy is muddied by the latest attempt from the company at a hybrid which 
is really some kind of cruelty joke to 'treehuggers' -- since almost any 20 
year old Toyota gets better mileage (mainly because they are over a ton 
lighter).

BTW Porsche could remove that excess ton of steel by going to graphite 
composite body panels and frame - and for the price you are paying - they 
should have!
