END Steve - I doubt you will hear anything, as it is pretty clear who is behind this... FWIW - The sender's email address traces back to Richardson, Texas. This appears to be suburb of Dallas. The database that follow these things for security purposes indicates no serious reports of spam or other complaints that point to this exact address; but apparently there are many separate redundnat email accounts associated with it. This database does not divulge the identity, just the complaints. The real identity is far more difficult to attain - and that factor does allow a poster to have certain degree of anonymity. Having said that: it can be noted that Keelynet was once managed from similar URLs and from this same area, but not any longer. However, I found a few postings on that forum from someone who often used the first name "Don" with differeing last names - and a similar originating address. Not sure who that could be, but if your ever followed Keelynet, then you may know. Since this was a first posting to Vo from that user name - it could be from an individual who has lurked on the forum for years under another name - and in the heat of a election - which is probably more emotional for some observers in those states where it is contested (in California this election is NOT being contested so we are spared the barrage of advertising and other stuff) ... and he could no longer control his hostility and bigotry. At any rate - and this could be a warning to those who want to post vulgarities and personal insults like that silly one [what was the purpose?] - and who think they can get away with it by using a fake name - all of the above info took me less than 15 minutes to dig up. It may not be accurate as a result, and the poster could have made it much harder by using a proxy (in fact this site could be a proxy site, but it does not seem to be or there would have been the usual level of complaints) and I am pretty sure I could find the exact identity of this poster, if it meant anything. Which it doesn't to me... of course, you may want to bore yourself by knowing who the vocal bigots are (after all, they could be armed ;-) - so have at it. Jones
