Too bad that more experimenters besides Prof. John Dash, are not reporting results using alternatives, such as Ti, which apparently does transmute to Ni (and other metals) - indicating some type of strange connection between the two. Because he has trained a number of younger experimenters in the great Northwest, this is one geographical area where that kind of breakthrough using alternatives could happen. Given Mills recent success with Raney Nickel, it is a bit surprising that someone has not reported on this catalyst with deuterium. Maybe that will happen soon. Grad students are not too concerned about the implications of improving someone else's work, and the "not invented here" syndrome.
