Howdy Vorts,
Something Jones mentioned has me puzzled. I looked at the periodic table closer
and cannot reconcile the position that hydrogen occupies in the table with it's
perfomance in chemistry.
Much has been written about water and it's amazing properties, however, the
role that hydrogen plays in the formulation of water holds a mysterious
fascination when one considers how hydrogen could possibly be combined with
oxygen and produce anything but an acid.
Unless... and this is a rather far out thought.... Hydrogen represents one of
Jones beloved two sided coins themes if you may. Each having an identical "
face" but opposite. Could hydrogen actually be the only 2 phase element
existing that exhibits properties of both matter and anti-matter? Inquiring
minds wish to know.
Richard
