Though the Pickens plan might be good for part of the problem, it
seems to ignore the vastly larger contribution solar power will soon
make to the overall energy consumption/production of the nation - or
at least can make if the government required two year delays for
environmental impact studies are taken out of the out of way
regarding use of the desert.
