Is that time of day significant historically ? "Swiss" in an English word and English is not an official language, so the watch was an export item to somewhere but how far back? [In German it would be: Schweiz, or in French: Suisse.] The USA would require it to say "made in Switzerland" and "Swiss" does not fulfill that requirement exactly. That leaves the UK - and its apparent age and encrustation might only be about 75 years ago - or before the Commies moved in - so it could easily have been left by a Brit -- and the beautiful area of Guilin is nearby this tomb (best part of China) and this has been a magnet for adventuresome Euro-collectors for at least 100 years. Maybe it was dropped in the tomb by a Brit collector/tombrobber - opps archaeologist -- sometime back in the twenties or thirties - since apparently this style of timepiece has been popular with women since before the 1930s... Do I smell: blockbuster screenplay?
