This paper is only remarkable for its many errors, the most notable being the fantasy that "since the HV energy is only 10 kV, the electron/deuteron energy of 10 keV can only excite atoms but not nuclei."
Even without recourse to LENR/LANR/CANR - there is no excuse for these scientist not to know about the published details of the Farnsworth Fusor - and the many other ICF experiments where deuterium fusion has been well-documented, and for many decades, with a threshold of around 10 kv.
