Um -- isn't this the area of Pakistan which has been under Taliban control for quite a while, in which the Taliban finally agreed to stop fighting if the government would give in on a number of points, including instituting Sharia law? If so, this is kind of old news, I think. The government of Pakistan sees eye to eye with the Taliban on at least one issue, I think: Human rights are for other folks... > > - Jed >
