Baxter International Inc. (NYSE: BAX),
is a global, diversified so-called "healthcare company", capitalization of $30
billion (for a short while) on 2008 sales of $12+ billion.

Baxter
manufactures drugs in 26 countries and sells them in a 100. It has screwed-up
before, rather seriously - but nothing like the recent 'oops'. It was
overpriced (given today's economy) before the recent incident.

... which BTW, the US press seems to be avoiding for now...

Prediction: This company will be selling for next to nothing in a few weeks -
unless they too were insured by AIG (which could have made the Nazis solvent)
... in which case Baxter will come out smelling like a stinking rose (hey, not
a bad restaurant )....

BTW I do not own it, and have not shorted it.... But would, if I had the
disposables, so to speak ;-)
