After the war, Messerschmitt was not allowed to manufacture airplanes, so they 
built way-cool cheap 3-wheelers that had aircraft-style bubble canopies. 
Gasoline was comparatively higher then than now, so these were very popular. 
Today they are worth 25 times their original price.

This sort of vehicle is long overdue. It is like a cross between a motorcycle 
and an automobile. I expect it is far safer than a motorcycle.
