"This video has been removed by the user" Another way to cheat at magmo (excuse me if this has been mentioned before -- I haven't read all the posts) is to create a rotating magnetic field by means of hidden coils powered in the correct phase sequence, just like the stator coils of an induction motor. For example, the coils could be hidden under the tabletop, even concealed by a false bottom. I think that any conductive disk in the field would rotate, since the rotor of an induction motor can be just a conductive copper cylinder or disk. (I guess we all know that magnetic fields are "conservative", which means you gain or lose (depending on polarity) just as much energy going away from the field as you lost or gained moving toward it. And no matter how many magnets or pieces of iron you use, the forces and energy (work) all add linearly, so the net result is zero energy gained per rotation of the thing. Thus all magmos are BS. I'll shut up now.)
