If I am not mistaken, this is based upon the same porous carbon, but with the Sulphur replaced by Oxygen from the air, thus it has the potential to be even more energy dense than the Li-S battery (Oxygen is a stronger oxidizer than Sulphur, and doesn't have to be carried around), and I suspect that it is also subject to the same limitation on the number of recharge cycles.
