Read, registered, and website comment posted.  It's hard to write a sane
unbiased comment (which won't be instantly ignored as coming from rabid
crackpot CF believers.)

not so simple.  In fact, various researchers did find positive evidence at
the time.  But they were ignored for various reasons, mostly regarding
academic politics, and mostly caused by conflicts of interest.  Simple
irrational disbelief ruled the day. One could write entire books about the
dishonest behavior of scientists on both sides of the CF controversy (and
several people have!)"
