There has been considerable commentary of the negative kind concerning
Palin's seemingly irrational move of stepping down as the governor of
Alaska, with 18 months still left on her gubernatorial term. It was
widely considered an irrational, unwise move. Her actions produced
ridicule from both the liberal democratic and conservative republican
parties. Adding insult to injury is yet another derogatory news
report, this recently posted out at cnn.com, inferring internal
problems may run deep within Palin monarchy, even though the report
actually states that no irregularities are actually being
investigated. (The Guilt by inference ploy, and other dirty politics.)

I listened to Palin's long and rambling resignation speech over the
weekend. While her commentary might have a tendency to amuse many
liberals (and perhaps frustrate a few conservatives, I personally
think it would be exceedingly unwise to count her out as a future
political contender. Not by a long shot.

What seems clear to me is that Palin's goodbye speech was just the
beginning of what I expect will turn out to be a continuous salvo of
Palin commentary concerning the dire state of the nation, the very
soul of the United States. And just who do you think has got it all
figured out. Who would just love to lead "Joe Six-Pack" and "the
plumber" back to economic greatness for which God intended fiercely
self-reliant independent souls to be, who only want to pull themselves
up by their own boot straps while flipping the finger at the horrible
evils of socialism and what it stands for.

So, just what are Palin's political plans? Many apparently believe her
latest actions have done an excellent job of sabotaging any future
political plans she might harbor within the Republican party. Some
might even assert that Palin's recent actions have done nothing more
than make her a political pariah. I suspect Palin doesn't think so, or
perhaps I should state that I suspect she doesn't care.

And that's the vital clue: she doesn't care. Personally, I suspect
Palin to be enough of a queen bee to have made the decision that she
is no longer interested in gaining favoritism to run for president
under the Republican platform.

Start looking for the newly created Palin Party, the new conservative
party with a goal of gutting the tattered Republican party.
Eventually, her party might not be called the Palin Party. In fact,
Palin may eventually end up running for president in 2012, or 2016
under the Republican party. But make no mistake, if she does so, it
will be Palin's party. I suspect "Joe Six Pack" and "the Plumber" will
love it. Palin will get their vote.

We do not need to watch out for the coming of Planet Nibiru and what
dire predictions that celestial event threatens to wreak upon the
planet. Planet Palin has already been sighted and it's heading for a
neighborhood near you.

In terms of future energy independence and related scientific research
it might be wise to start preparing contingency plans now under the
possibility of enduring a future Palin administration. But I hope not.
