Google is OCR'ing their own books (in http://books.google.com) and then displaying them in mixed image + underlying text format. Perhaps the other web site you saw has the same format. In other words, perhaps the authors did the conversion, not Google. We have one paper at LENR-CANR.org in this format, because Pam Boss asked me use it: http://lenr-canr.org/acrobat/SzpakSonthebehavb.pdf I prefer a complete OCR conversion. - Jed
