No. Things are just... things are hard. Life. As for your "stationary rotor / rotating stator" design, that isn't hard to make, I have what is needed, I believe. I think I will go build it now. I am interested. I figure if I spend about 45 minutes making it, which is about all I should need, I will have another 75 minutes before I crash. 105 if I push things. Split that 50/50 between writing and sketching, there's a possibility I will wake up thinking it was a good night. So I'm gonna head over to my little machining area and get to work.
