For further information on this mysterious topic: http://www.strangeunknown.com/paranormal/djia-closed-9605same-on-91101-and-9 1109/ http://tinyurl.com/n269sj ...as well as a somewhat more skeptical take the matter as discussed at the following "Gold Is Money" blog site: http://goldismoney.info/forums/showthread.php?p=1918701 http://tinyurl.com/kqw54w While I must confess that I suspect our universe is indeed made up of interesting patterns that occasionally have a tendency to repeat themselves in surprising ways I feel a strong impulse to blurt out something snarky like: "Facts, smatchs! But what does the Dow closing at 9805 on both of these memorable dates really mean!!!" Many have evoked fertile conjecture on the point that they believe there are reasons behind such mysterious coincidences. Unfortunately, it's been my experience that few seem to reveal reasonable explanations - at least, not many that make any sense to me. In fact, many of us don't even seem to appreciate the answers given, period. For example what are we to make of the following coincidence for which the character, Luna Schlosser, experienced an epiphany, as revealed in Woody Allan's classic film, "Sleeper": * * * * * * http://www.uselessmoviequotes.com/umq_s022.htm Luna Schlosser (Diane Keaton): Miles, did you ever realize that God spelled backwards is dog? Miles Monroe (Woody Allan): Yeah, so. Luna Schlosser: Makes you think. * * * * * Perhaps D.A. said it best: "42" Viva la mystery! IOW, perhaps I should just stop trying to "reason out" anything that might be considered logical in regards to this topic.
