There has been research done on the referenced material's retention of He3 and Tritium declassified in 1999: http://www.osti.gov/bridge/servlets/purl/763914-tTveZU/webviewable/763914.pdf The research shows single crystal loading with all three isotopes of hydrogen. I presume this is in support of the NIF. I wonder if the Beta phase loading is comparable to the 95% loading claimed by CF researchers. If so, I wonder why LLNL has not observed the CF phenomenon.
