Readers have downloaded ~300 copies of the DIA document from LENR-CANR.org. This is significant, but other documents have attracted more interest when first uploaded.

It may be that many people are downloading the copy at New Energy Times.

Let us hope there is more lively interest within the government.

Over at the Wikipedia circus, Eric Naval uploaded a message from the DIA Public Affairs office to him telling him the document is real. (See below) The people at public affairs were not thrilled to find the document uploaded. They were the ones who asked us to remove it on Wednesday. After lunch, Beverly Barnhart wrote to me: "Talked to public affairs guy--he said let it be."

This was a couple of days after Krivit uploaded the paper with permission. (And I uploaded it first and informed them later, because Hey, Why Not?) So there must be a division of opinion within the agency about making it public. I got the impression from the tone of the messages copied to me that they are not terribly upset. Just "miffed," as I said.

Please could you confirm if unclassified report #DIA-08-0911-003 exists, and
if it's called "Technology Forecast: Worldwide Research on Low-Energy Nuclear
Reactions Increasing and Gaining Acceptance"

Additionally, could you confirm if it's the same document as the one in this
internet address:

http://newenergytimes.com/v2/news/2009/2009DIA-08-0911-003.pdf

I'm sending this email because this document is discussed in wikipedia as a
possible source for one of its articles, and we don't know if it's a real DIA
document, or if someone has faked it.
