When I was calculating the velocity of sound in the nuclear structure I  
came up with nuclear spacing
of 1.36 fermis.  The nucleons are actually 1.25 fm in radius.  I  had a 
problem with the theory.
 
 
 
The basic structure of this theory has proved itself correct time and time  
again.  What was the 1.36 fermis?
 
I just looked it up.  It is the known nuclear spacing.  Its  greater than 
the nuclear radius due to the packing fraction.
