Mizuno called me last night. He was too busy to go to the ACS conference.

Since he retired, he has devoted most of his time to conventional research in hydrogen embattlement, under contract. He says it is "fun." I think it is getting back to his roots. I said I hate to see him doing conventional research instead of pressing ahead with the phenanthrene studies. Honestly, I am distressed to see that! He knows I am. He said: "not to worry, after a long wait I got some grants to do the phenanthrene experiments, and we just fabricated some new equipment for that." So that's good news.
