Yup. Even though it should not be difficult to test this hypothesis, it may be some time before we can determine what's going on -- if ever.
Fisher's unfinished paper has a great deal more information than the preliminary note -- information he derived from a close reading of the blog. However, other people familiar with the work respectfully disagree with Fisher. We all agree he is a smart cookie. He is also 90 years old, by the way. He doesn't look it.
By the way, Jed, you left out the little "h" in the first heat numbers. It's important!
That may be a voice input error -- me swallowing the word "hours." I was writing a bunch of stuff yesterday and had it turned on all day.
