Ah. There was one OCR error left in that: no mote sense => no more sense
You would think that with someone as important as Franklin, a clean ASCII copy of all of his papers would be on line. But I can't find one. This is from two sources. A facsimile copy with poor quality underlying OCR text is at Google Books in a couple of books, such as this one:
