Obviously this would require several thousand volts at proper timing, not an easy thing. It would be too expensive for normal munitions, but in the case where every pound of takeoff weight which is saved can equal a few extra minutes of flight time (on your killer drone), this detail would be something that could have crossed the mind of the geniuses who do not mind wasting the taxpayer$$.
