Fran: Simply stated: "The origin of inertia IS the origin of Gravity aka
Electro-Gravitics."

The 'big' issue is the 'simplifying' of the articulation of the process, rather
than as you classically stated as articulated as the
gangly-disjointed-long-winded progressive amalgam of physicists who observed
'pieces' of the greater whole; is the real quest. Ha: Look who's talking; I'm
the maestro of gangly/long-winded/disjointed!~;-) But in justice to your
notable scholarship: NOBODY could have more 'correctly' stated the issue in
classical terms as is humanly possible & in artful fashion than you have!

Notably: FZNIDARSIC has articulated a fairly lucid modality for 'cutting to the
chase.' This streamlining of the associated 'issues' into a sythesis of THE
ISSUE will be part & parcell to realizing the 'over-physics' of the future
supertechnologies pressing from the 'future' into our NOW as we speak.

METHINKS that you are mega-correct here: The lucid insight into the 'quantum
wave nature of matter' will supercede the current not-so-lucid 'quarkian
nature of quantum mechanics's. 'Quantum-Wave' will tend to integrate future
Quantum-Electro-Gravitic Physics a la' FZNIDARSIC effectively in synthesis with
Eintein-Relativity. And this could've never happened with the disjointed
insights of 'quarkian-particle/quantum-machanics; which is being SUPPLANTED
before our eyes.

And as for 'that' bold claim; new Electro-Gravitic exotic Super-Technologies
will illustrate my last statement as they become public. And the first
shot-across-the-bow was the HUBBLE accelerated galaxies observations which
illustrate ZPE-Electro-Gravity Theory and put the kaibosh on those ofd
Hawking-esque 'now' PROZAIC/OBSOLETE Big-Crunch (now dead) theories.

So such as S. Hawkings; although understandably revered are NOT the last word.
And of all of the classic-physicists; the pedantic illustration of their
quasi-sequential notable amalgam of well-accepted EFFECTS assigned by their
respective names says 'not-much-really' very well. And in short; these are
neither the 'last-word(s)' on these issues. And future modalities who
leap-frog them that are producing exotic super-technologies as we speak.

And although you articulate the attempted-interface of these aforementioned
'now' classical theorists and interface with high-level expertise; the
patch-work quilt dis-sychrony of that tack of the current
'school-of-accepted-physics' is becoming obsolete before our eyes.

And your Casimir work has obviously put you at the forefront of these
developements. But I predict that the 'New Electro-Gravitic Physics' will not
much be built upon the 'classic-quantum-mechanics' quarkian-particulate
models. And we will live to see that the Next-Wave of 'Star-Drive' physicists
will snigger at the mere mention of a
'quarks/Quantum-Mechanics-models-etc.'~:-)

And Cern-Hadron's public-statement on research a la' 'quantum-mechanics'
modalities; is one of the most notorious Red-Herrings in the history of modern
scientific endeavor. You can 'Take that on to the Suisse-Banque,' because they
have. . .

Here's a coinage-"Quantum Electro-Gravitic-Wave-Plasma."~Jack~

Subject: [Vo]:FZNIDARSIC theory -phonon speed

Frank,
Below is a paragraph from “The Origin of Inertia”
http://www.calphysics.org/inertia.html . Is this another perspective
supporting your speed of phonons?
Regards
Fran
It is well known that an accelerating observer will experience a bath of
radiation resulting from the quantum vacuum which mimics that of a heat bath,
the so-called Davies-Unruh effect. This was discovered shortly after, and in
connection with, a 1974 paper by Hawking proposing quantum evaporation of very
low mass black holes. For an accelerated object moving through the vacuum the
zero-point field will yield a non-zero Poynting vector. Scattering of this
radiation by the quarks and electrons constituting matter would result in an
acceleration-dependent reaction force that would appear to be the origin of
inertia of matter (Rueda and Haisch, Physics Letters A, 240, 115, 1998;
Foundations of Physics, 28, 1057, 1998). In the subrelativistic case this
inertia reaction force is exactly newtonian and in the relativistic case it
exactly reproduces the well known relativistic extension of Newton's Law. Both
the ordinary, F=ma, and the relativistic form of Newton's equation of motion
may be derived from Maxwell's equations as applied to the electromagnetic
zero-point field. We expect to be able to extend this analysis in the future to
more general versions of the quantum vacuum than just the electromagnetic one.
Indeed, it is quite possible that what we have shown is how the electromagnetic
ZPF contributes to inertia, but this may not be the whole story.

A Resonance Frequency and the de Broglie Wavelength

The approach used in the NASA study also suggested that there should be a
specific resonance frequency for the particle-ZPF interaction giving rise to
inertia. We have found that if, for the case of the electron, the
inertia-generating resonance is at the Compton frequency, then such a
resonance, driven by the zero-point fluctuations, could simultaneously account
for both the inertial mass of the electron and its de Broglie wavelength when
in motion as first measured by Davisson and Germer in 1927 (Physics Letters A,
268, 224, 2000, cf. also chapter 12 of de la Pena and Cetto, "The Quantum Dice:
An Introduction to Stochastic Electrodynamics, Kluwer Academic Publishers). The
de Broglie wavelength of an electron placed in motion appears to be related to
Doppler shifts of Compton-frequency oscillations associated with
Zitterbewegung. This provides a very suggestive perspective on a connection
between electrodynamics and the quantum wave nature of matter, again limited by
the validity of SED theory in this domain.
