I saw technical specs for an SSD that say reading occurs at 255 MB/s
with SATA, and 268 MB/s with SATA III. It said typical read speeds
for hard disks is 104 MB/s.
I do not necessarily believe technical specs or the claims of manufacturers.
(The units can be confusing. I was looking at this stuff earlier and
I mixed up "Mbsec" -- megabits, with MB/s megabytes.)
