Yes,

The timetable approaching 2012 has to be orchestrated carefully or we
earthlings might become alarmed..

Maybe it will happen sooner than 2012, like next month ! I sent the
following post earlier but it got lost in cyberspace.

This story is really picking up traction on the News Wires. They are calling
the planet "Goldilocks" . not too hot, not too cold, etc..

.not to mention being near Ursa Major which has been most impressively
bright recently, at least on the West Coast.

However, an interesting point for Futurists, assuming that Goldilocks is
habitable, and only 20 light years away - is when will we get there, or
conversely when will they get here (or have they?). Seti (not that seti) has
already said:

"Because of its temperature and relative proximity, this planet will most
probably be a very important target of the future space missions dedicated
to the search for extraterrestrial life. On the treasure map of the
universe, one would be tempted to mark this planet with an X."

If we can possibly conceive a way to send an advanced robotic craft there
within a few hundred years, Moore's Law could help in that rationalization -
but the curious thing that stares us right back from that same mirror is -
where are the ones they sent here, if they had even a modest thousand year
head start?

Not to mention, are any of the more credible UFO reports due to a
Goldilockan spacecraft?

And my "twist of the day" . did ET somehow assist in planting this story,
and the other recent ones that popped up recently on UFOs . and why? . hmmm,
in order to soften us up for an "October surprise" of a different kind than
expected in an election year?

I bet the pollsters have not thought this one through very well.

And heck, if I was a candidate not doing too well, would I be looking for
ILM to produce an certain endorsement (ya' know . from the 'green' party ;-)
ahead of time?
