CF was also briefly mentioned in the hilarious award winning sit-com series
"The Big Bang Theory" In episode titled "The Cruciferous Vegetable
Amplification" Sheldon, a young, brash, and socially inept, theoretical
physicist, decides he wants to live long enough to transfer his
consciousness into the body of a robot. One the reasons why he wants to do
this? ... because he wants to live long enough to see "cold fusion" become a
reality.

For all you socially dysfunctional closet nerds out there in Vort land give
yourself a break and watch a couple of episodes of the Big Bang Theory. You
will truly enjoy it! Let your nerd out of the closet!

BTW: Steve Wozniak makes a brief cameo appearance at the end of this
episode. Hilarious shtick.

BTW, Without a shadow of doubt I'm convinced that I've had several close
encounters with a true version of a "Sheldon" persona in a prior work
environment assignment involving A&E research. In some of my interactions
with this "Sheldon" individual I truly felt just as flummoxed as Leonard,
Sheldon's roommate, appears to be in his interactions with Sheldon. I must
confess that I've occasionally wanted throttle the "Sheldon" that I knew.
Fortunately for all involved, my interactions with "Sheldon" were strictly
through email.
