I built that for a science museum exhibit that never went forward.
Also, the "Searl disk" setup should actually work to confine some cylinder
magnets in the narrow slot between a rotating copper ring and a smaller
rotating disk placed within the ring. (The ring and disk spin opposite.)
There are restoring forces in all directions, so if the ring and disk are
adjusted to the right speed, the cylinder magnets should hang suspended,
motionless in the gap.
