The Technology Review article discusses the ramifications of certain
topological configurations that are speculated to be occurring within
the sub-atomic realms. It is conjectured that certain sub-atomic
topological configurations (if true) would result in affecting the
characteristics of matter in unique and potentially exploitable ways.

For those interested in acquiring a better understanding of the
subject known as "Topology" I would recommend the following DVD course
series. You can purchase the courses through a company called "The
Great Courses". It's taught by Professor Satyan L. Devadoss. The title
of the course is "Shape of Nature"

This DVD series contains 36 lectures, approximately 30 minutes in
length each. Several months ago I purchased the DVD set at a discount.
I see its still "discounted", from $374.95 to $99.95.

I found the course to be a worthwhile class project, especially since
I could both view and subsequently Grok the ramifications of the
lectures at my own pace.

My two cents.
