And another thing! When you test with a drum can of cold water, the partial
pressure change might mess up the upstream measurements at the gadget, but
the drum can test itself still works. It collects all the enthalpy: hot
water, wet steam, dry steam. That's the beauty of it, and that is why I
suggested it to Rossi.

On the other hand, you can only do this test for 20 minutes or so, before
the water get so hot the drum can radiates a lot.

So, if you don't want to go to the trouble of installing a valve and
pressure gauge, the procedure would be to start the drum can test, and while
it is running, ignore the upstream readings. See if the 20-minute test gives
the same results as the upstream readings before and after the test. I am
assuming the machine remains in a fairly steady state. That is my
impression, from the temperature curves.
