Excellent model (sphincter) that explains why H and D don't interchange very
well between Ni and Pd! I prefer things in layman's terms anyway since this
nut isn't going to be cracked until after an engineer actually makes it a
feat accomplished. This is still a multi horse race in many respects thanks
to the selfless contributions by groups like vortex that are analyzing and
suggesting principles in a public forum. A large company or foreign nation
can come up to speed and compete with the present contenders in a very short
period of time with these resources at hand and be in a position to out fund
the present participants almost effortlessly. Although BLP and Rossi appear
to be the leaders, this week we heard mention of Brillouienergy
http://www.brillouinenergy.com/GodesIE82.pdf , we know Energetics is still
in the race and I am sure Arrata and Spawars are still looking for a way to
bring their research up to practical levels. I maintain this remains
anybody's race to win with a strong possibility the winner will come out of
left field from a totally unrecognized entity.
