For those who like to see what you tax dollars are buying you these days,
here is one high-flying fat boy.

This is the "approved" story of Boeing's version of the hydrogen powered spy
plane. There could be others new UAVs out there as well, with "hydrogen
power" in an advanced form being the common denominator.

In the initial configuration, H2 is burned by converted 4 cylinder Ford
automotive-style piston engines - each of about 100 kW capacity. The fact
that the engines are not mounted, in the image, is one clue that other types
of power sources were designed to be attached. In fact many engineers at
Ford have been told that this is not going to be the engine used in
production.

And . on an ostensibly unrelated note: Here is part of the underwhelming
interview with Rossi

The two stories may be completely unconnected, and in any event, it is true
that the more Rossi speaks, the less believable he appears.

Plus, there are a fair number of stories coming out from the US aerospace
industry, third and fourth hand, that the "hydrogen powered" spy plane can
be fitted with an advanced kind of motor that keeps it aloft far longer than
the combustion configuration. Although this industry is secretive, you might
remember that long before the Stealth fighter was announced, a plastic model
airplane was being sold to hobbyists which was almost identical in design
and proportion to the real thing. Good guess?

This has led a few observers to put two and two together - and to suggest
that a top secret propulsion device, which consumes hydrogen in a unique
way, can substitute for the ICEs on this particular plane. And possibly that
the device in question could be related to Rossi's.

Far as I know, there is no real evidence for this coincidence. The fact that
a few high level skeptics, and Bob Park may or may not be one of them, have
been silent on Rossi . well, that could be completely unrelated, or it could
indicate that word has slowly leaked out at high level and is trickling
down, that that a new source of energy is about to be released - first to
the military and then for other uses. A word to the wise is sufficient?

Even if that part were to be halfway accurate, it does not connect the new
energy source with Rossi, specifically, or does it?
