What! No CF!?!

I believe he regards cold fusion as a form of perpetual motion.

I don't see how he thinks cancer by cell-phone has been suggested by people "outside the scientific community." I don't know what errors in that subject he thinks have been unrecognized. The skeptics have scoured that research and come up with all kinds of potential errors, including many that make no sense, such as the ones published in Sci. Am. recently.

The National Cancer Institute is not outside the scientific community. They do not find clear evidence for cancer from cell phones, but they do not dismiss the hypothesis by any means. Their conclusion: "For the small proportion of study participants who reported spending the most total time on cell phone calls there was some increased risk of glioma, but the researchers considered this finding inconclusive . . ."

Apparently, for Robert Park, "inconclusive" equals "Voodoo Science." Whatever Voodoo Science might mean.

I think the definition of "Voodoo Science" boils down to "whatever I, Robert Park, don't like." It turns out he doesn't like much of anything. Gene Mallove used to say Park's column should be called: "What's New (that I don't like)"
