Robin, The short 50kW pulse should - IMHO- be able to last just as long as Rossi's device but lacks any thermal control. My point is that you don't need to regenerate the catalyst if you can keep your geometry from melting down in the first place. I also suspect that when Mill's does close his control loop there will be far fewer hydrides produced because the hydrogen won't be reacting with the skeletal alloy so much as it reacts with itself in different IRH forms and different atomic bond states.
