Well, it would be a big shift in theory for sure, but we talked about the
boron component before, mentioned in the patent. Splitting boron can be
accurately called "fission". 

Note, I am not saying this is what Rossi is now claiming but it is closer to
fission than fusion, although a lot of "so-called experts" want you to think
that all light element reactions are fusion. This increases the funding for
fusion, so we understand their semantics game.
