I suspect concerted efforts to create the so-called quintessential "perfect"
Rossi experiment would turn out to be a futile gesture. Ardent skeptics will
always find excuses to move the goal posts. It's in the job description.

In the meantime, I think one must do their best to exercise a modicum of
patience and wait for additional experimental reports to be issued from
establishments like Bologna, Sweden, and hopefully a few more
establishments. Needless to say skeptics are not likely to accept any kind
of experimental evidence issued from these establishments because in their
view they are all in cahoots with the perpetrators of the grand fraud game.

There is an easier solution anyway: A highly visible commercial product
(i.e.: the promised 1 megawatt thermal plant) which ought to be able to heat
several gallons of tea to the boiling point in a matter of minutes is likely
to render all of this current drama, both pro or con, into a curious
footnote soon enough.
