Doubt it ! There could be a connection, however - between ANY kind of LENR and increased solar neutrino output, and the E-Cat would be no exception - but is there any evidence from anywhere else that the same experiment performs better this year than a few years ago? (much less hundreds of times better)
That would be the factoid needed to frame the case a little tighter for a neutrino connection to Rossi, since there has apparently been a tiny but documented real change in decay rates recently of well-known isotopes (to the delight of Creationists). Neutrinos are suspected, but the change is miniscule. Nor does this seem to have anything to do with the 2012 Mayan calendar business, as popular as that nonsense has become. The most recent study indicates that our solar system lies several dozen light-years away from the galactic plane. That is light-years, not years. Not really all that close. What's more, in 2011 we are traveling "away from the plane of our Milky Way galaxy, at some 7 kilometers per second" due to what is essentially "wobble". Therefore, we won't be physically passing through the galactic plane in 2012 or anytime in the near future, Quetzalcoatl notwithstanding. Makes a nice Sci-Fi plot though ...
