Interesting assessments from Jed.

I have a few eccentric thoughts to share on the matter. Please humor me!

According to my unorthodox (unscientific) Witch Doctor files Rossi still has
another year of "futzing" around to do before his e-cat technology is ready
for prime time. The "doctor" further states that much of the recent news
we've been hearing is primarily "noise" or publicity generated for the
specific purpose of drumming up additional funding in order to complete R&D
on Rossi's e-Cat technology. According to the "doctor" I get the impression
that important/essential R&D is still underfunded. ...Thus sez the Witch
Doctor. ;-)

With those unscientific predictions placed out in the public domain I have
not lost sight of the fact that Defkalion seems to be calling their own
shots. Defkalion seems to be moving ahead regardless of what Rossi might
personally prefer would be a more prudent course of action to take.
Defkalion continues to give me the impression that they will roll out first
generation products by October.

How safe will Defkalion's first generation products be? As Jed has already
expressed, one assumes the company will be assembling toned down versions of
Rossi e-Cat technology, this based on the company's current understanding of
how to safely exploit the Rossi Effect. What's fascinating about all of this
is the apparent fact that nobody seems to understand the physics involved!
According to the Witch Doctor, the Rossi Effect has something to do with the
crystalline structure of alloys changing state...from a solid to liquid, to
gas, and vice versa. Something to do with the outer electron shell behaving
in exotic ways at the razor's edge of state changes. Whatever...

Setting theories aside, it strikes me as a prudent move on Defkalion's part
that they will employ Rossi's e-cat reactors configured to work at bare
minimum. That's what I would do with fire I don't yet fully understand.
Hopefully the products, even in their toned-down state, will operate at
levels that produce sufficient quantities of heat and electricity, enough to
prove to a skeptical world that they can compete with most conventional
energy sources currently on the market.

Let me add one final comment. In regards to the "Doctor's predictions that
Rossi has at least another year of "futzing" to do before his e-cats are
ready for prime time, nothing would please me more than to prove it
incorrect. More power to Rossi if he can get his e-cats ready by October. My
only concern is that Rossi doesn't compromise important safety corners in
order to meet the October deadline.
