You may be happy to learn that while lunatics have been busy knocking
seven bells out of foreign countries so as to purloin oil, which is soon
going to run out in any case, brighter men have held firm to the quest
for cheap, abundant and clean energy that may bring all of humanity into
a new era.

Belief
All this has resulted in the belief that Cold Fusion may be ready for
public use by the end of this year. If these first Cold Fusion plants
perform up to their potential, then we can hope for the construction of
industrial-sized power plants within another year or two.
There may well be vested interests who will seek to delay the inevitable
but the inescapable truth is that a new era is coming, whether they like
it not.
It seems to me that there is no situation facing Man that cannot be
resolved by reason, if reason, mans greatest asset, is allowed to be
brought into play.
But as far as one such example of Mans ability to resolve problems with
reason, Cold Fusion, is concerned, remember that you read it in The
Sussex Newspaper first!
