Okay, this is from the "Village of the Banned": Meanwhile, back at the farm, I am in occasional email contact with a member of a group who plan to go to Greece sometime in September for a week of evaluation of a Defkalion Hyperion device. Information this person sent me so far is that the testing method will be unrestricted, and there will be no NDA. The plan is for them to write a paper as soon as they complete their evaluation. This individual sound serious.
The group is skeptical and is working for potential investors with lots of money (or so the story goes so far). They had been awaiting a package of documentation from Defkalion which includes the sort of input and output connections they can expect so they can plan couplers and piping for their instrumentation. If this had not arrived reasonably on time, they would tend to not believe that the demo would take place. It was due August 5 and lo and behold, it has apparently arrived. >From the email, Defkalion sent "a ton of information". The person says it's not certain this "covers everything the engineers on our side need to know" but thinks that "if they send this much that indicates their willingness to reveal more as needed." And: "they have already told us a lot about pipe fittings and interfaces." I have, of course, no way to verify this but I think it's likely to be a reliable report. Another thing I don't know is if my informant saw the material personally or it's all on hear say from someone else. If it's true, it's sort of the Dr. Mike part of a Steornian scam if indeed that's what we have here. And as with Steorn, it's not completely clear yet whether it's a scam or not and it's certainly unclear what the purpose/payoff and end game are if it is a scam. Anyway, I thought I'd share this to be taken with the usual quantity (one grain) of sodium chloride. Obviously I can't say more about the source yet. Edit to add: Also according to the same source, Rossi is considered unreliable by Defkalion and they are proceeding with their program more or less without him. His claims are, apparently, not their claims. They do stand by what they wrote on their forum. <end> The poster is "maryyugo", a pseudonym. T
