A good demo is like a good preach, I remember reading what a
    famous pastor told: “First, I

tell them what I will say them in the preach. Then I say it. When
    finished, I explain them what

I have told. Then, I sit down.”

If I'm not mistaken this in the civil world also known as the tell-to-tell principle.

B.t.w. it reminds me of an old saying which is allegedly be said by Confucius:
Tell me and I forget,
Show me and I remember,
Involve me and I understand.

Kind regards,
