This is an example of how an ancient technology (wind power) can be improved with ultramodern materials and techniques. Some people have said that wind power and coal are ancient and therefore cannot be improved. It makes no sense to call one technology "old" and another "new." All technology still in use is a mixture of old and new techniques. - Jed
