He also said that he measured the temperature of the condensate using his own thermocouple. The number was lower than the heat exchanger cooling water measured by the Termometro, which is impossible. However, he also measured a sample of tap water with his own thermocouple and found it was significantly cooler than the condensate measured with the same instrument. So his thermocouple does not agree with the Termometro. Handheld meter thermocouples are better at measuring a change in temperature than the absolute temperature. - Jed
