It'd probably be very beneficial for humanity -- although no secrets should be kept about fundamental breakthroughs in nuclear physics, due to the historical law of physics: little bangs mean soon really huge bangs...
As a pragmatic skeptic, within the largely CF believing community of Vortex-L, my meager qualifications re science and technology have turned out to be enough to spot common sense flaws in all major claims since 1989 for independent replications in any form of CF -- I am hardly a lone voice when so many are applying highly developed capabilities to assessing the Rossi spectacles -- red flags and orange barrels and unmarked potholes carpet the road for months -- influenced by Jed, actually, for a few months I tended to believe that all the smoke proved there was some real fire there -- I've come up with a few ideas about boiler scale buildup and heater resistor corrosion cracking shorting, guessing that the input electric power was greater than measured... remember, science is happening when a lot of possibilities are being disconfirmed -- I, Rich Murray, say Rossi is delusional! May I be disconfirmed!
