I agree this is a circus, but such things are rare in LENR research. It is usually sedate. It takes place at boring universities or corporations. Look at the ICCF web sites and the Papers at LENR-CANR.org and you see no grandstanding or false rumors.
In the "free energy" business you do see a lot of false rumors and flamboyant behavior.
I think we all agree that Rossi is flamboyant. - Jed
